Since 2005, The Receptionists have built an excellent reputation as a sensational live act, never failing to pack the dance-floor.
Our sets are drawn from classic Soul, Funk, and Motown artists including Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, through to contemporary performers, such as Amy Winehouse. We enjoy what we do immensely, and it comes across in a fun and vibrant performance for everyone to enjoy.
As part of the entertainment package, we can also provide an excellent DJ, whose impressive collection of music and versatility has contributed to our success. Please talk to us about the music you'd like the DJ to include at your reception, and we can tailor his performance to your needs. You may have a theme, or want the DJ to play a special song at a certain time of the evening, for example, and we're happy to incorporate this into your evening.
As well as superb sounds for your event, we provide all lighting and equipment, too. We take care of the music, so you can relax and concentrate on enjoying your special day.
It's a special occasion, and we'll do everything we can to help make it enjoyable, memorable, and hassle-free for everyone. We can be flexible and adapt to the timings of your reception. Please feel free to contact us about how we can work around the events of your evening.

The Receptionists are an experienced and professional live act, specialising in Soul, Funk, and Motown material.
We've earned a reputation as a sensational live act, and can cater for all kinds of events. The band has wide-ranging experience playing at large corporate events for clients including Orange and John Lewis, as well as Christmas, birthday, and New Year's Eve parties. The Receptionists are fully mobile, and can provide live music, DJs and all lighting and equipment for all kinds of venue, from marquees and halls to large hotel ballrooms.
Our excellent DJ can accommodate any musical preferences, and will happily work to any event themes and provide specific songs at key points if required.
